For the past several years, we’ve moved toward a more secure web by strongly advocating that sites adopt HTTPS encryption. So, post-July 2018 (ie. now), if your site does not have an SSL certificate correctly installed and display ‘https’ in the URL bar, your site will be labelled as insecure to all visitors.

Having ‘Not Secure‘ on the site is obviously a security issue, and it does impact SEO. But it will also have a negative impact on brand perception and trustworthiness by your customers.

Quite a few of my clients have had this problem, so I have a service now to address it.

If you’d like me to address so you have the security certificate installed on the site and it displays ‘Secure’ with the green padlock (see image below), let me know and we’ll fix it asap for you.
